Jack and Siena were born October 9th, 2015. Mom and Dad were at the hospital at 5:30am sharp. Surrounded by mostly tired and clueless nurses, we got a good dose of the ridiculous show that is ahead of us for the next...well forever.

Jack came out first at 8:20 ish and Siena was 20 seconds later. Seems like they had had enough of each other inside that belly and they were ready to take on the world. I can't express the feeling of relief, gratitude, appreciation and humility when these kiddos started screaming and clearing their lungs. Baby boy was 6lbs 3oz and the girl was 6lbs 6oz of perfect health.

4 days later we were in our home. Grinning from ear to ear and embracing everything these little monkeys threw at us. Our home and our hearts have never been fuller. Our other parent friends and family tell us the novelty will run out especially with the 3am cranky feedings, but so far we are so head over heals with these munchkins that we are finding that very hard to believe.

We have fallen in love with one another all over again. I cannot help being in awe of my amazing wife. Her strength, courage, and patience these past 10 months has been something i could have never imagined. We are in this journey together and along to enjoy every minute of the ride.
